Delabole is a large town in north Cornwall, England, UK. It is situated around two miles (3 km) west of Camelford. It remains in the civil parish of St Teath. The village of Delabole originated in the early 20th-century; it is called after the Delabole Quarry. Three communities: Pengelly, Meadrose (noticable "médroze") and also Rockhead, and the district of Delabole southern of the quarry are revealed on the earliest one-inch Ordnance Survey map of 1813.
