Brackley is a town within south Northamptonshire. It's about 19 miles (31 km) from Oxford and 22 miles (35 kilometres) from Northampton. Historically a market town based on the wool and lace trade, it was established on the intersection of trade routes in between London, Birmingham and the English Midlands and in between Cambridge and Oxford. Brackley has a resident population of approximately 13,018 (2011 Census) which has grown significantly from 2,467 in 1901. The town was the location of a historically important meeting between the barons and representatives of the King in 1215, the year of the Magna Carta. In 1602, the metaphysical poet John Donne was elected as MP for the constituency of Brackley. Brackley is near the Silverstone motor racing circuit, and boasts some industry related to Formula One racing, particularly the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team which is primarily based in the town, and the Force India F1 team which operates a wind tunnel on the former site of the north railway station. On the east outskirts of the town is H. Bronnley & Co., producers of hand-made soaps who hold Royal Warrants of Appointment for supplying Queen Elizabeth II and the Prince of Wales. The Brackley Morris Men are 1 of only 7 'traditional Cotswold' Morris dancing sides remaining in England and the only 1 still running in Northamptonshire. Their history goes back to the 1600s when a solid silver communion plate was given to the parish. The plate which is still in the possession of St Peters Church is dated 1623, and is inscribed with the names of seven men, whom local folklore believes to have been the morris dancers. Brackley boasts football, rugby and tennis clubs. For all of your property upgrades, make sure that you use vetted pros in Brackley to ensure you get a great quality service.

How Much Does Pat Testing Cost?
When it comes to Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) there’s no particular rule that determines how much such services can cost. However as a rule of thumb, you should take note that when calling in a professional PAT testing company they’re likely to charge within the range of £1 to £3 per appliance that’s going to be tested. However, if you have quite a number of appliances to be tested, then there’s a good chance that the price per appliance can be reduced to serve as a bulk discount. So the more the appliances to be tested, the better.
There are companies that actually offer a pricing that’s below £1 per item, however companies likely are most definitely going to have a fixed minimum number of appliances that are required to be tested or a fixed minimum fee like 60 portable appliances. It must, however, be noted that pricing can also go beyond PAT Testing as several professional companies will add some additional advantages which is more than just the test of each individual appliance. This kind of pricing can include other services such as a thorough visual inspection, plug rewiring as well as fuse replacements. They can also include stuffs like Pail and Fail labels in the pricing.
Generally, the average price of PAT testing will be based on various influencing factors such as the type of the appliance, setting, number of appliance to be tested as well as other related expenses. What’s more? Most PAT companies will offer a company with a PAT Testing Certificate so as to certify that the company is in total compliance and also remains a safe environment to work.
If your fuse box keeps tripping or blowing fuses, it may need replacing. Other signs that your fuse box is not working properly include humming, sparking and lack of power. Contact an electrician and ask for a safety report, this will diagnose the problem and lead to a quick fix.
Periodic testing and inspections should be completed: Every 10 years for your home, Every five years for rented accommodation, Every three years for a caravan, Every year for a swimming pool.Electrical inspections are also carried out when buying, selling or renting a property.
You can find out roughly how old your wiring is by simply looking at it. If the wiring around your fuse box is covered in old-fashioned casing, or is damaged or fraid, it may be over 25 years old and need replacing. This is more common in older properties or houses that have been empty for long periods of time.
