Belvedere
Belvedere is a town in south east London, England within the London Borough of Bexley. It's positioned south east of Thamesmead and is found about 12 miles (19 km) southeast of Charing Cross. Belvedere was in Kent, and postally remains so. It formed part of the Municipal Borough of Erith before 1965 and improvement work occurred before the Second World War, with significant renovation following the Blitz. In spite of this, Upper Belvedere and the Village still features much of its Victorian and Edwardian appeal and character. Upper Belvedere boasts a church and many Victorian and Edwardian brick villas. It includes numerous conventional pubs, restaurants and retail outlets. The band was a successful broadcaster on BBC Radio in the 1920s and 1930s.
