Cleator Moor
Cleator Moor is a small town, civil parish and also 2 selecting wards (north and south) in the English region of Cumbria and within the limits of the historic county of Cumberland. The town's horizon is controlled by Dent Fell and the town lies on the 190 miles (310 kilometres) Shore to Shore Stroll that covers Northern England. On the outskirts of the community of Cleator Moor lies the town of Cleator with which the community is very closely linked. As a negotiation of note, it was substantially inhabited by immigrants from the North Eastern counties of Ireland in the last fifty percent of the 19th century, leading to the colloquial title of Little Ireland. With the decrease of conventional industries and the resulting high price of joblessness, the town's economic climate is now dependent on the nearby Sellafield facility, which supplies tasks to around half the community's people.
