Front doors are a fundamental part of any property and therefore, need to have a wide variety of characteristics to ensure they're suitable. Hardwood doors are one option and in fact quite popular amongst householders for several reasons.
For a front door, you need excellent security, weather resistance, durability and even more importantly, amazing aesthetic appeal. And that's just what a hardwood front door offers you. They look brilliant and you can even select from a variety of colours and amazing designs to create a unique appeal for your own home.
No matter your property, you could look at a Victorian, Edwardian modern or even country front door design. Then the colour could vary from a traditional black or white, to bolder red, green and blue.
Hardwood doors are preferred over the cheaper uPVC option due to the fact they're far more resilient and look excellent. They could cost you a bit more, but the extra expense is worth it when considering the amazing benefits.
The common cost of Hardwood doors is £900. Costs fluctuate based upon the materials and the tradesman hired. The upper price range can be as high as £1035. The material costs are in general about £225

Belvedere is a town in south east London, England in the London Borough of Bexley. It's located south east of Thamesmead and is located roughly 12 miles (19 kilometres) southeast of Charing Cross. Belvedere was in Kent, and postally remains so. It was part of the Municipal Borough of Erith before 1965 and development occurred prior to the Second World War, with significant rebuilding after the Blitz. Despite this, Upper Belvedere and the Village still has a great deal of its Victorian and Edwardian charm and character. Upper Belvedere features a church and many Victorian and Edwardian brick villas. It has numerous regular pubs, restaurants and retail outlets. These consist of The Eardley Arms on Woolwich Road, The Vic on Victoria Street, The Royal Standard in the centre of the village plus the Fox in Belvedere village. Upper Belvedere also boasts a big park and a library that was in danger of getting closed down due to local government cuts. Fortunately closure threats have been averted as a result with the efforts from the local community. A brand new 'Splash Park', which opened in 2005, was a welcomed addition to the village, having been created on the site of an old Victorian paddling pool. The splash park preserves some of the original paddling pool structures. Between 1898 and 1961, Callender's Cable Works, at the Erith Works, was patron to Callender's Cableworks Band, an amateur brass band formed of personnel from the company. The band was a popular broadcaster on BBC Radio in the 1920s and 1930s. For all your house upgrades, make sure that you work with reputable specialists in Belvedere to ensure you get a great quality service.

An engineered wooden door is a door made out of multiple pieces of wood. This is opposed to solid wooden doors that are made out of one piece of wood.Engineered wooden doors are usually covered by veneer to make them look like they are made from one piece of wood. They tend to be sturdier and straighter than solid doors.
