For 2 metre solid fences it’s recommended to use concrete posts to support each panel. For smaller 1 metre fences or for picket fences with gaps between each timber piece you can use timber posts. A fencing contractor will be able to advise you on the best materials from the length and requirements of a new fence.
Torrington
Great Torrington (often shortened to Torrington, though the villages of Little Torrington and Black Torrington are located in the exact same region) is a tiny market town in the north of Devon, England. Parts of it are sited on high ground with high drops down to the River Torridge below, with the lower-lying parts of the town vulnerable to periodic flooding. Torrington remains in the centre of Tarka Nation, a landscape captured by Henry Williamson in his unique Tarka the Otter in 1927. Great Torrington has one of the most active offering communities in the United Kingdom. In July 2019, Great Torrington was reported to be the healthiest area to live in Britain. Researchers from the University of Liverpool found that the location had low degrees of air pollution, great access to green space and also health services, together with couple of retail outlets.
