Your LPG storage tank will need to go outside your property, possibly underground if you have limited space. There are planning rules that restrict where you can put your tank, especially if your property is listed or on designated land. Take a look at our planning permission article to find out more.
Abbots Langley
Abbots Langley is a large village in Hertfordshire in England with a population of 10,472. It is near to Watford and many people commute there, and it was part of the Watford Rural District. It is now in the Three Rivers District.
The first record of the village is in 1045 and it is listed in the Domesday book, which noted that 19 families lived there at the time. The village lies on clay, so the water supply is ample.
Abbots Langley is perhaps most famous for being the home of Pope Adrian IV, the only Englishman to ever become Pope. He was born Nicholas Breakspear in around 1100.
The village has a Methodist Church as well as the Church of St Lawrence the Martyr which has a 12th-century tower and Norman arches.
Near the south of Abbots Langley are Leavesden Film Studios, located on the former Rolls-Royce airfield. Scenes from films including GoldenEye and Harry Potter have been filmed there.
If you need some developments done in your home in Abbots Langley, always ensure that you compare and contrast quotes from a range of reputable firms before making a decision.
