Trimdon Station
Trimdon (population 2,958) is a village in Region Durham, in England (earlier Tremeldon (1196) or Tremedon (1262 )). It is 9 miles west of Hartlepool, as well as beside Trimdon Colliery, Trimdon Grange and Deaf Hill (also called Trimdon Station). In your area, to differentiate it from these it is known as Trimdon Village or merely "The Town". The main prime focus of "The Village" is Saint Mary Magdalene church, which was created during the Norman duration (about 1145AD). Trimdon Labour Club (currently closed) was the setup for a few of the previous prime minister and also constituency MP, Tony Blair's constituency speeches. Blair's regional residence remained in close-by Trimdon Colliery.
