Llandudno Junction, when referred to as Tremarl, is a huge town in the region district of Conwy, Wales. It becomes part of the old parish of Llangystennin, and it is located south of Llandudno. The population is 6,722 (2011) as well as becomes part of the neighborhood of Conwy, and comprises the wards of Marl and also Pensarn (Llandudno Junction). The town matured around Llandudno Junction train station, which is a junction between the Crewe-Holyhead line and the Llandudno-Blaenau Ffestiniog line. There are via trains from Manchester to Llandudno, but passengers taking a trip from London, Cardiff, or Holyhead to Llandudno typically have to transform trains at Llandudno Junction. Local employment opportunities altered significantly in the latter quarter of the 20th century owing to the loss not only of the railway depots however also of a major electric manufacturing facility (Hotpoint), of which part of the old manufacturing facility site is under planning application for 3 even more Car Dealerships. One more part of the factory site was gotten by the Welsh Government and building and construction started in 2007 on a new office complex that houss around 525 staff members, including about 100 tourist, transportation as well as venture jobs which were transferred from Cardiff. The keys to the building were formally handed over from the developers in May 2010.
