Nantwich
Nantwich is a market town and civil parish in the Borough of Cheshire East and the county of Cheshire, England. It lies on the Cheshire Plain, on the edges of the River Weaver. The Shropshire Union Canal flows through to the west of the town on an embankment, crossing the A534 by using an iron aqueduct, with the basin being a preferred mooring for visitors to the town. Nantwich is roughly four miles south-west of Crewe and 20 miles south-east of Chester. According to the 2011 census, Nantwich has a permanent population of about 17424 and is host to a wide range of various celebrations held across the year. The International Cheese Awards are completed in Nantwich as a part of Nantwich Show, which is an annual farming showcase held at the Dorfold Hall estate in July. The 83000 square foot marquee that features the awards has had up to 4425 separate cheese entries from at the very least 26 nations. Another popular event involving food is the yearly Nantwich Food Festival, which happens in the town centre over the first weekend in September. Revived as a free-entry festival in 2010, the fair draws numerous artisan manufacturers from both the local area and further afield, and delivers chef demonstrations, family activities and entertainment. It draws in about 30000 visitors a year. The town is known for having the largest collection of historic buildings in the county. The majority of the listed structures can be found in the town centre, located within the 38 hectares (94 acres) of conservation area, which mainly follows the boundaries of the late middle ages and early post-medieval town. For all your house upgrades, make certain to make use of dependable specialists in Nantwich to make certain of quality.
