If you’re replacing your carpet with new carpet, you might be able to use your old underlay. This is dependant on how long the existing carpet has been down for and also the condition of the underlay. But if you’re getting wood, laminate or vinyl flooring it’s not suitable. It will put stress on the joints if you use underlay.
Studley
Studley is a big village and civil parish in the Stratford-on-Avon area of Warwickshire, England. Situated on the western edge of Warwickshire near the boundary with Worcestershire it is 4 miles (6 km) southeast of Redditch as well as 13 miles (21 km) northwest of Stratford-upon-Avon. The Roman road of Ryknild Street, currently the A435, passes through the village on its eastern side, alongside the River Arrow. The name stems from the Old English leah, being a field or pasture, where equines, stod, are kept. Studley is sometimes claimed to be the biggest village in England, however, this is incorrect as it is not even the biggest town in Warwickshire. Although Polesworth and also Bulkington are larger, by population, they could be classed as a suburban. The UK Census 2001 reported Studley's population as being 6,624, reducing to 5,879 at the 2011 Census.
