Market Harborough is a market town within the Harborough district of Leicestershire. It is the administrative headquarters of Harborough District Council, and has a population of 22911 occupants. Previously at a crossroads for both road and rail, the A6 now circumvents the town to the east, and the A14, which includes east-west traffic, is 6 miles to the south. The town is located on land that conventionally made up Rockingham Forest, a royal hunting forest used by medieval monarchs after William I. There are 2 towns within the confines of Market Harborough. Great Bowden can be discovered a mile from the town centre, and Little Bowden is under half a mile from the town centre. The three centres have actually mainly merged as a result of ribbon development and infill. Dominating the town centre is the steeple of St. Dionysius Parish Church, which increases straight from the street as there is no church yard surrounding the structure. The Old Grammar School, a relatively small wood structure going back to 1614, has emerged as a symbol of the town. The town square is mostly pedestrianised and surrounded by different structures, even though a lot of structures positioned in the High Street are Georgian structures that stay primarily undamaged. Market Harborough underwent considerable improvement in the latter half of the 20th century. This includes the establishment of the head office for Golden Wonder crisp producers, and the demolition of the old Symington factory to the construction of Eden Court shops and flats. In 1968, the centre of Market Harborough was labelled as a preservation area. In 2007, its popular park, Welland Park, was awarded Green Flag Award Status, acknowledging excellence and high environmental standards. For all of your home upgrades, make sure to make use of respected professionals in Market Harborough to make certain of quality.

With age and use any electrical installation in your home will wear. A periodic inspection is therefore carried out to ensure your home electrics are in a satisfactory condition. With a periodic inspection: Ensure your electrical circuits aren’t overloaded, Avoid accidents such as shocks and fire hazards, Discover if there are any defective lines,Highlight any lack of earthing or bonding..
If your fuse box keeps tripping or blowing fuses, it may need replacing. Other signs that your fuse box is not working properly include humming, sparking and lack of power. Contact an electrician and ask for a safety report, this will diagnose the problem and lead to a quick fix.
Periodic testing and inspections should be completed: Every 10 years for your home, Every five years for rented accommodation, Every three years for a caravan, Every year for a swimming pool.Electrical inspections are also carried out when buying, selling or renting a property.
You should report any suspected faults to your landlord as soon as you know about them. It is their responsibility to investigate, and hire an electrician to do any work if needed. Know your obligations as a tenant and keep in touch with your landlord on a regular basis.
We can help you get more electrical testing (pat testing) work with our qualified job leads and boost your business.
