Bishop Auckland
Bishop Auckland is seen as a marketplace town as well as civil parish in County Durham in north east England. Throughout the Industrial Revolution, the town increased quickly because coal mining became predominant as being a definite important sector. The subsequent decrease of the coal mining industry in the late twentieth century continues to be blamed for a drop in the town's fortunes in some other sectors.
