Kirkby Stephen
Kirkby Stephen is a civil parish and also tiny market community in Cumbria, in North West England. Historically it was part of Westmorland. The community pushes the A685, bordered by sparsely inhabited hill country, as well as about 25 miles (40 kilometres) from the local larger communities, Kendal as well as Penrith. The River Eden increases 6 miles (9.7 kilometres) in the peat bogs below Hugh Seat and goes by the eastern side of the town, nearly unseen. Kirkby Stephen has a church council as well as is a centre for surrounding smaller sized villages and churches, including Nateby, Ravenstonedale as well as Mallerstang. A community as well as council centre in the library offers information and also solutions for all the neighborhood councils (region, area as well as parish). An electoral ward in the same name exists. This ward extends southern to Aisgill with an overall population taken at the 2011 Census of 2,580.
