Stirling
Stirling is the smallest city in Scotland and has a populace of only 45,750. The city retains most of its historical value and was constructed about a large fortress and medieval old town. Its city status is pretty new, just being granted in 2002 as part of the Queen's Golden Jubilee activities. Although the city does keep a traditional appeal, Stirling has modernised in recent years and extended to cater for an evergrowing populace.
