Bognor Regis is a resort town and civil parish in the traditional county of Sussex on the south coast of England. It is administratively inside the Arun district of the non-metropolitan county of West Sussex, and suburbs of the town are the villages of Felpham, Alwick, and North and South Bersted. The population of Bognor gradually grown over the course of the twentieth century, being at around 63,855 in the 2011 census. The post-war period saw partial commercial redevelopment, especially in the 1960s following the creation of a new shopping parade, health centre and high-rise block of flats.
