Dronfield is a town in North East Derbyshire in the North Midlands area of England. It is composed of 3 communities, which are Dronfield, Dronfield Woodhouse and Coal Aston. The town is said to be the home of the most extensive privately owned housing estate in Europe, called Gosforth Valley, when it was developed in the 1970s. Irrespective of growth and modernisation, the town has maintained its ancient character, with several historical buildings staying intact. Inhabitants have plenty of options for shopping at independent and commercial chain stores, visiting libraries and joining leisure centres. The world's oldest football team, Sheffield F.
