Kirkliston is a small town as well as church to the west of Edinburgh, Scotland, historically within the county of West Lothian. It pushes high ground immediately north of a northward loop of the Almond, on the old road between Edinburgh and Linlithgow (the B9080, currently removed by Edinburgh Airport), having a crossroads with the roadway from Newbridge to Queensferry and past to Fife (the B800). The B800 is otherwise named Course Brae, High Street, Station Road, as well as Queensferry Road as it travels through the town. The B9080 is named Main Street as well as Stirling Road as it goes through.
