You can find out roughly how old your wiring is by simply looking at it. If the wiring around your fuse box is covered in old-fashioned casing, or is damaged or fraid, it may be over 25 years old and need replacing. This is more common in older properties or houses that have been empty for long periods of time.

Rosewell is a previous mining village in Midlothian, Scotland, eastern of Roslin and south-west of Bonnyrigg. The village remains in the civil parish of Lasswade and also was formerly a separate ecclesiastical church, however has its own Neighborhood Council, particularly Rosewell and District. The population of the village is 1,566 (in 2011).
