Newton Stewart
Newton Stewart is a former burgh community in the historic county of Wigtownshire in Dumfries and Galloway, southwest Scotland. The community gets on the River Cree with a lot of the town to the west of the river, and is sometimes described as the "Gateway to the Galloway Hills".
