Parquet flooring is a kind of wood flooring where small wood blocks or strips are installed together to generate a distinctive pattern across the entirety of the floor. Parquet was historically installed with each individual strip meticulously laid, but modern parquet is available in larger tiles or planks to offer the same appearance.
