Seaton
Seaton is a seaside community, angling harbour and civil parish in East Devon on the south coastline of England, and is historically part of Axmouth (to the east) as well as Beer (to the west). It faces onto Lyme Bay and also is on the Dorset as well as East Devon Coast Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. A sea wall provides access to the mostly roof shingles beach going for concerning a mile, and a little harbour, located primarily in the Axmouth area. Seaton's recorded population at the 2011 Census, was 8,413, whilst the Seaton and Beer Urban Location that consists of Colyton had an estimated population of 12,815 in 2012 The Seaton selecting ward, that includes Beer, Axmouth and Colyton, had a population of 7,096 at the above census. There are 3,300 homes in the parish, of which roughly one 3rd are of single-person tenancy. Most of those persons are of pensionable age.Its placement next to floodplains as well as hemmed in by hills on either side suggests growth is challenging and also has actually interfered with development of neighborhood employment. In 2010 redevelopment of a large part of the community started with brand-new service sites providing a much needed rise in non-seasonal employment.
